The portal provides a trusted, centralised gateway to verified information on Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction. It brings together relevant sources, partners and programmes, helping users find the information and opportunities they need while fostering a reliable environment for stronger cooperation and partnerships.

Created as a trusted entry point, the portal connects extensive but often fragmented information and transforms it into a practical support resource for:

• development stakeholders;
• businesses, chambers of commerce and organisations supporting business internationalisation;
• municipalities and other public authorities;
• state institutions;
• civil society organisations;
• support organisations in Slovenia and Ukraine; and
• other actors involved in recovery, reconstruction and development.

The portal systematically identifies, collects, verifies and curates Slovenian, Ukrainian and international sources relevant to development cooperation between Slovenia and Ukraine and to the creation of new partnerships.

The portal aims to:

1. connect stakeholders from Slovenia and Ukraine;
2. serve as an entry point for Slovenian–Ukrainian cooperation in public policy, regional and local development, recovery and reconstruction, civil society, and the business-support environment;
3. raise awareness of ongoing efforts in Ukraine related to recovery, reconstruction, modernisation and development; and
4. increase the visibility of Slovenian development activities in Ukraine among professional and expert communities.

A practical source of information

Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction are closely and inseparably linked to its path towards European Union membership. This includes the adoption and implementation of European standards, such as in the development of effective ecosystems aligned with EU regional and cohesion policy, recovery and further development of Ukraine’s energy sector, environment and sustainable waste management, civil protection and disaster preparedness, and others fields.

The portal’s mission connects Slovenia’s international development objectives with a central dimension of Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction: the promotion of sustainable economic growth in Ukraine’s communities and regions.

At the national level, the programme’s priority areas provide common ground for cooperation among diverse stakeholders and consortia in Slovenia and Ukraine. These include governmental institutions, agencies and public authorities, regional development ecosystems, civil society organisations and the private sector. The portal also creates opportunities to share Slovenian good practices, knowledge, practical experience and innovative solutions.

The portal was developed in the framework of the Recovery and Reconstruction Programme implemented by the Centre for European Perspective – CEP, a Slovenian government institution, with the support of the Slovenian Aid & Partnerships Programme.
